Les Comtes - Fendant Centenary Au Clos AOC Valais 2024

At the foot of the Saillon tower and opposite our carnotzet, a vine planted in 1900 continues to yield some precious bunches. Its naturally very low yields give rise to an exceptional Fendant, a rarer specialty than a classic production, limited to only 800 bottles.

In the glass, the color is bright, a shining pale gold. The nose delights with its finesse: white flowers, delicate citrus fruits, and a subtle mineral touch evoking sun-warmed stone. On the palate, the freshness, lightness and mineral straightness stand out, enhanced by a slight carbonic sparkle that highlights its liveliness and elegance.

A dry, mineral, and refined wine, embodying the authenticity of Valais and the heritage of a century-old vine. To be enjoyed in conviviality or kept as a rarity.
