At the foot of Saillon Tower and opposite our carnotzet, a vineyard planted in 1900 continues to yield a few precious bunches of grapes. Its naturally very low yields give rise to an exceptional Fendant, a rare specialty rather than a classic production, limited to just 800 bottles.
In the glass, it has a luminous, bright pale-gold hue. The nose charms with its finesse: white flowers, delicate citrus notes and a subtle mineral touch reminiscent of sun-warmed stone. On the palate, freshness and lightness and mineral precision take center stage, lifted by a gentle carbonic spritz that highlights its liveliness and elegance.
