Les Comtes - Fendant Centenaire Au Clos AOC Valais 2024

At the foot of Saillon Tower and opposite our wine cellar, a vine planted in 1900 continues to yield a few precious bunches. Its naturally very low yields give rise to an exceptional Fendant, more a rare specialty than a classic production, limited to just 800 bottles.

In the glass, the colour is bright, with a dazzling pale gold hue. The nose charms with its finesse: white flowers, delicate citrus and a subtle mineral note reminiscent of sun-warmed stone. On the palate, freshness and lightness and mineral purity take centre stage, lifted by a slight natural sparkle that highlights its vivacity and elegance.

A dry, mineral and refined wine that embodies the authenticity of Valais and the heritage of a century-old vineyard. Enjoy it in good company or keep it as a rarity.

From the purchase of 6 bottles of Au Clos, the wines are supplied in a wooden crate.
